Hi, I'm Farshad :)
Welcome to my website!
I'm a curious PhD candidate in biomedical engineering at the University of Toronto. At the moment, I spend most of my time engineering DNA nanotechnologies 🧬, and researching how I can improve personalized medicine approaches. I also spend a lot of time thinking about what I’m supposed to be doing with my life, and how I can be the best version of myself. This website hosts a collection of my over caffeinated thoughts regarding my life and the world, as well as my notes on the various books I’ve read.
My life is a mosaic of all my different hobbies and interests, and I'm always trying to learn new things by talking to really cool, interesting, and inspiring people. Besides writing about my life and random thoughts, I also hope to use this website as a space to document and share the journey of transitioning various health and medical technologies from my lab bench to the real world. Additionally, I will also use this space to capture the insights I gather from my various hobbies and interests, along with the stories of all the cool and interesting people I encounter.
